Audi Coches clásicos Electric Cars Eventos
Audi Tradition publishes the list of events it will take part in during 2010

Last year, the German brand with the four rings turned one hundred years old and celebrated in grand style: from a spectacular sculpture for the Goodwood Festival of Speed to an all-chrome R8 V10 presented at its stand at the Frankfurt Motor Show. But when 2009 ended, and with it its centenary, it did not mean the end of historic events for Audi, since it has organised a large number of them for 2010.
Among anniversaries, historic rallies and classic car shows, fans of the Ingolstadt manufacturer can be almost certain they won’t be bored this year. Just make sure to pack your bags, because they won’t stop travelling, and the events will take place in several European countries such as Italy or England, although, as is logical, most will be held in Germany.

Audi has two birthdays to celebrate in 2010. On the one hand is the 30th anniversary of its “sacred number”, Quattro. One of the most well-known and respected all-wheel drive systems in the world began its journey back in 1980 with the coupé of the same name, designed to bring fame to the brand in several rallies.
For the occasion, Audi will exhibit from March to August at the Audi Forum in Neckarsulm a series of the most relevant models that have had the privilege of belonging to the history of Quattro. The manufacturer will also attend the Techno Classica in Essen from 7 to 11 April, where, as part of the “30 years of Quattro” show, four other models will be present. The anniversary will be completed by a unique exhibition at the Museum Mobile of the Audi Forum in Ingolstadt between 28 April and 31 July.
The other birthday is that of Wanderer, one of the four brands merged in 1932 to form Auto Union, which was founded 125 years ago in Chemnitz. In its hometown, as well as in Leipzig, commemorative exhibitions will be organised from 2 to 5 September in which Audi will take part.
Other examples of events where Audi will be present are the Monaco Historic Grand Prix on 1 and 2 May, where a 1936 Auto Union Type C and a 1939 Auto Union Type D can be seen; at the Grand Prix of classic motorcycles at Schottenring in August, some models of DKW and NSU will attend; and from 30 July to 1 August, the Classic Days at Schloss Dyck, near Düsseldorf, will welcome former legends of Audi such as a 1988 200 Trans Am.
The classic rallies that will feature Audi Tradition this year will be several, such as the Silvretta Classic in Montafon, Austria, from 8 to 11 July, the Nuvolari Grand Prix in Mantova, Italy, from 16 to 19 September, or the Eifel Classic Rally from 30 September to 2 October. Finally, the various electric cars that Audi has produced since 1920 can be seen at the Classic World Lake Constance in Friedrichshafen from 3 to 6 June, and once again the brand will be one of the stars of the Goodwood Festival of Speed in England on 2, 3 and 4 July, where the 1939 Auto Union Type D can be seen again.
