Nissan Comerciales Range / versions
Autotech, the other customization brand of Nissan coming from Japan
In addition to the NISMO range, the Japanese brand offers its customers the Autotech brand, which focuses on providing high-quality, handcrafted finishes

When we talk about Nissan models taken into the more sporty world, the NISMO brand immediately comes to mind for all of us. This is the manufacturer’s sub-brand that raises the quality and sporting performance of every model that passes through its hands. But it is not the only one: Nissan also has another brand with which it works on its models to raise the quality of their components and offer a more attractive look.
But although NISMO is a globally operating brand, Autotech is limited to the Japanese market, so we are hardly likely to see any of these modifications in our country. Under this common brand, the vehicles previously listed as Axis, Rider, Bolero and Mode Premier disappear and come together under the same umbrella. And as a re-entry launch, since it is a revived brand, there will be a Serena Autotech version.

We have already seen that the intention of Nissan is to offer this kind of modification for vehicles that normally do not receive a sporty or Premium-quality version, with the presentation of the Serena NISMO, so it will have two Premium versions on the Japanese market.
NISMO will remain the Nissan brand that boosts the image and sporting performance, while those receiving the Autotech treatment will get higher-quality finishes, where details are taken care of with fine materials and handcrafted elements. In addition, the utmost care will be given to customer service to achieve a clear difference from standard vehicles.
With these two lines of customized finishes, Nissan wants to continue with a line of vehicles that offer something more than what can be found in those sold at dealerships. The NISMO range has recently been expanded and, in addition to the Serena we saw not long ago, it includes versions of the GT-R, 370Z, Juke, Note and March, which you can see in this family image.

Unfortunately, the Autotech finishes will stay in Japan, and in the rest of the markets we will not be able to enjoy very different and attractive versions. At least, for the time being…
