BMW Group announces a 21.7% increase in its global sales

It seems not all manufacturers are yet praying that this blessed global crisis doesn’t sweep them away and force them to close their doors. Among the lucky ones, without a doubt, is BMW Group, which has just announced a 21.7% increase in sales compared with the same period last year.
As you well know, BMW Group is made up of the BMW brand itself, as well as MINI and Rolls-Royce, brands that together have managed to sell a total of 111,720 vehicles up to February of this year, leaving the 91,763 units of last year far behind.
Specifically, the rise in sales is driven above all by the 276.2% increase experienced by Rolls-Royce thanks to the registration of 252 vehicles. On the other hand, we have BMW, which shows a 21.9% increase with 95,423 vehicles registered, while the small MINI has grown “only” by 19.3% thanks to the sale of 16,045 units.
If we change the view and look at this increase by region, we once again see how, just as happened last year, the best market for BMW Group has been Europe, with a 16.8% increase, meaning the sale of 57,381 units, while in second place is the Asian market with a 49.3% increase and 25,722 units. Finally, there is the American market with a 14.7% increase and 24,640 units.
