BMW M6 Coupe Competition Edition
BMW M6 Coupe Competition Edition
BMW customises the M6 with a finish that combines a performance upgrade with exclusive design, both outside and inside. The new BMW M6 Coupe Competition Edition adds exclusive body colours, carbon fibre components and upholstery, among other details. It is an edition associated with BMW’s competition package.
The exterior colours available are: white (Alpine White) and yellow (Austin Yellow metallic). On the former, the exterior decoration adds vinyls that pay tribute to the BMW M colours, just as the BMW M6 GT3 competition car does. It fits 20″ wheels in matt black that match other elements such as the kidney grille, the door handles in gloss black and other accessories like the rear diffuser, the mirrors and the spoiler made of carbon fibre.
Inside, there is black Merino leather upholstery, with contrast stitching in white or yellow, depending on the chosen exterior finish, giving the BMW M6 Coupe Competition Edition’s cabin a very sporty look. On the door sills you can read the “M6 Competittion” inscription, which is also referenced on the coaster lid and in various parts of the bodywork.
Interior of the BMW M6 Coupe Competition Edition
Carbon fibre plays an important role in this special edition. Elements such as the centre console and the gear lever knob are made of that material. The steering wheel is trimmed in Alcantara, and among the optional equipment you can opt for sound systems by Harman Kardon and Bang & Olufsen.
All these upgrades and special additions, both exterior and interior, are complemented by the 4.4-litre V8 engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology that produces 600 CV, which has 40 CV more than a BMW M6 Coupe, and with which it can reach a top speed of 305 km/h.
