BMW MPV: the future rival of the Mercedes Class B MPV in a new spy photo

The guys at BMW decided it wasn’t very good news that Mercedes-Benz was going around saying it was preparing a small MPV based on the Renault Kangoo (a result of its alliance with Nissan-Renault).

So they got to work and launched their own MPV project, although this one would not be as civilised as a Renault Twingo Kangoo. For this MPV, BMW mentions a 245-horsepower turbo engine with four cylinders.

For now, we’ll have to make do with a few spy photos of the MPV in question, along with the knowledge that BMW will opt for a slightly more elaborate solution, using the platform of the Mini-Cooper for its family MPV.
