BMW Serie 5 in chrome green

You have already realised that in Russia people like to take things to the extreme, even well beyond what common sense dictates. But it must be said that there is no accounting for taste, and everyone does what they want with their personal belongings, with their money and… with their cars.

Money and cars. A combination that seems to be becoming more and more normal in Russia, where the standard of living of some already leads them to eccentricities like this one: chroming a BMW Series 5 M in the traditional chrome colour, and then applying another layer of chrome in green.

After looking at it several times, I suppose I have ended up liking it, though, admittedly, somewhat grudgingly and with reservations. Had I done this job, I would have leaned towards blue chrome; but as I said before, there is no accounting for taste… nor is there anything written about ruining Hamann and AC Schnitzer accessories.

Are we on the verge of a fashion for chrome colours? What do you think of this BMW?
