Bufori Geneva: the Malaysian Rolls-Royce is being prepared

One of the participants in the Beijing show will be Bufori, a Malaysian brand that specializes in luxury cars. As you can see in the image, Rolls-Royce seems to be the ideal model for Bufori and the basis for the design of the Geneva, although we can also find some Bentley, Morgan or Chrysler influence in its unusual design.

The reasons why a wealthy buyer would choose a Bufori over a Mercedes-Benz or even a Rolls-Royce are the staggering amount of detail and wood, leather and suicide doors finishes and all kinds of luxury amenities aimed at standing out from the crowd, according to the brand. But what exactly is the Bufori?

Let’s just say it is an underdeveloped Rolls-Royce: although the interiors look good quality, they are overly busy, while the exterior design is based on being a copy of the Rolls-Royce. Under the bonnet is the 6.2-litre Hemi engine from Chrysler (Dodge Challenger and others).

The company’s plans are to expand across China, where it has recently opened a sales centre, and where it plans to make its definitive debut at the Beijing show as an alternative to Western luxury brands. Will it be able to pull it off?
