Bugatti Chiron L'Ébé: three units for the final series of the supercar

Great cars deserve a great finale. The Bugatti Chiron is about to disappear, and it wants to go out in style. We have already seen several special editions launched with small numbers of units, and now, to put the final full stop on the production of this supercar, the company has chosen to pay tribute to Ettore Bugatti’s daughter.

She is not a widely known public figure, but she is important to the brand. She was very close to her father and, in 1967, she wrote the book La historia de Bugatti, tracing the entire history of the brand. To offer this well-deserved tribute, the brand has prepared three units of the Chiron wearing a special outfit.

A well-deserved tribute

The Bugatti Chiron L’Ébé is based on the design of the Bugatti Type 57 G Tank, which won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1937. The exterior color is dark blue, covering the carbon fiber bodywork. To give it the modernist touch that the founder’s daughter liked, gold decorative details have been added. There is a badge bearing the inscription EB, also in gold. That color also appears on the front grille and on the W16 and 1,500 badges. These certify the presence of the 8.0-liter W16 engine.

The wheels also receive this gold color, giving it a very elegant touch. The EB logo is present at the rear, at the base of the retractable rear wing, and embroidered on the seat headrests. Inside, there is a strong presence of carbon fiber, tinted blue.

The driver’s door panel is covered in Silk leather with blue motifs, which serves as the identifier of this variant. For its part, the passenger door panel reverses the pattern, creating a very interesting visual play. There are several exclusive elements for this version, which demonstrates the adaptability of Bugatti.

With these three units, two Chirons and one Chiron Sport, production of this supercar, which entered the market in 2016, is brought to an end.
