Bugatti Chiron Noire Duo, two luxury versions covered in carbon fibre and limited to a small number of units

Bugatti has just presented two limited-edition versions of its hypercar, the Bugatti Chiron. The versions are named Noire Sportive and Noire Élégance. Both ultra-luxury models are inspired by the Bugatti La Voiture Noire, unveiled earlier this year as a one-off unit, which in turn paid tribute to the classic Type 57 SC Atlantic.

Adorning the exterior of the Bugatti Chiron Noire Élégance is a gloss carbon-fibre bodywork, as well as a front horseshoe grille fitted with a different mesh design that incorporates an emblem Bugatti made of solid silver.

Elsewhere, there is a set of new wheels and black brake calipers, while the brand’s signature C-shaped line and the wing mirrors are finished in matte polished aluminium.

Inside, the Bugatti Chiron Noire Élégance is dominated by black leather and features an ‘Noire‘ inscription on the door sills, the centre console and the headrests.

Bugatti Chiron Noire, Sportive or Élégance?

The Bugatti Chiron Noire Sportive, on the other hand, has a matte carbon-fibre exterior, as well as other exterior trim elements, including the characteristic C-shaped line, the wheels, the radiator grille and the front splitter, all finished in matte black. The cabin is dominated by even more black parts than the Élégance, including a series of switches, knobs and dials finished in matte black.

Both versions feature the same four-exhaust-pipe design as the Bugatti Chiron Sport.

In total, Bugatti will build only 20 examples of the Bugatti Chiron Noire Sportive and the Bugatti Chiron Noire Élégance, with a starting price of 3 million euros. Deliveries will begin in the second quarter of 2020, and customers who already own a Bugatti Chiron Sport can upgrade to the ‘Noire’ exterior and interior trim for an additional 100,000 euros.

The modern interpretation of the coupé was created as the ultimate Grand Tourer for Bugatti enthusiasts. This one-off example demonstrates once again that Bugatti builds the most powerful, luxurious and exclusive hypercars in the world. “True luxury is individuality. ‘La Voiture Noire’ is the spearhead of automotive engineering, a sculptural beauty,” says Bugatti President Stephan Winkelmann. “La Voiture Noire”, the black car, was a special Type 57 SC Atlantic created by Jean Bugatti, the most famous and beautiful car in the world. Only four were built between 1936 and 1938. The black car disappeared at the start of the Second World War. If it were ever found, it would probably be the most expensive and valuable car in the world.
