Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport Grand Prix, this is the first unit of the brand's new personalisation programme
Bugatti Sur Mesure is the French marque’s new extreme personalisation programme, and it has been unveiled with its first finished unit, the Chiron Pur Sport Grand Prix

I have never been able to check this first-hand, and I very much doubt I ever will, mainly because my wallet will never be that fat, but I imagine that buying a supercar must be a unique experience: from the treatment the brand gives you to make you feel at home, to the process of personalising your new toy, something that will undoubtedly be even more special when they let you choose down to the smallest detail.
Practically any brand operating in these spheres has a department to meet the demands of its customers ahead of their next vehicle purchase. A case in point is Bugatti, where countless details, paints and materials are available to its clients. But for customers of these brands, that is sometimes not enough; they need to go one step further, which is why, to meet these even more exclusive requirements, Bugatti has created “Bugatti Sur Mesure“, its new extreme personalisation programme.

Once the programme was created, the main thing is to showcase it and give it visibility, and for that there is nothing better than showing what Bugatti Sur Mesure is capable of with the presentation of its first personalised unit: the Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport Grand Prix, a model inspired by the achievements of racing driver Louis Chiron, and what better way to do it than to use as its basis the latest version of the French supercar.

To do so, the Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport Grand Prix has been dressed in a beautiful sky blue for the main part of its bodywork, while the lower area as well as the wheels, rear spoiler, mouldings and inserts are painted in gloss black and, as a contrast, there are the areas over the wheel arches painted in a red that fades out. But look closer at these red areas and you will see that they are the letters “EB”, which have been painted entirely by hand; undoubtedly hard, time-consuming work, as is the number 32 on the doors, also hand-painted, which is the same race number Louis Chiron wore.

Inside the Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport Grand Prix there are also special changes, focused on the decoration, with an interior now flooded with black leather for the seat upholstery, with its contrasting stitching in red, the same colour used for the embroidery of the number on the headrest. This material is accompanied by Alcantara on the door panels and the transmission tunnel, as well as the carbon fibre dashboard. Finally, the crowning touch is provided by black anodised aluminium for the centre console and a hand-painted silver inscription.
