Bugatti Divo: this is the silhouette of the most radical hypercar

The Bugatti Divo will debut this week at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Its latest teaser reveals a deeply aggressive figure.

The Bugatti Divo is one of the hypercars generating the most anticipation in recent years. The French model will be very different from what the VAG group brand has accustomed us to. Bugatti claims the Divo will have nothing in common with the Chiron, and indeed, the latest image of the most radical hypercar from the French manufacturer confirms it. The latest teaser of the Bugatti Divo reveals a silhouette even more menacing than that of the Chiron or the Veyron.

As we expected some time ago, the Bugatti Divo appears set to adopt a design line similar to that of the Vision Gran Turismo Concept, a prototype unveiled even before the Chiron’s official launch.

This carbon fibre part of the Bugatti Divo was revealed in a recent Tweet from the brand.

The latest image of the Bugatti Divo reveals some clues about its design, including a large rear wing, very aggressive wheel arches, and sides where the aggressive line that the window traces from the B-pillar to the wheel arch stands out.

Better cornering than the Chiron

The technical specifications of the new Bugatti Divo remain under wraps, but we know the car will have a more radical approach than the Bugatti Chiron or the Veyron. The Divo will be a car with better cornering, where driving dynamics and aerodynamic downforce will be its two main banners. To achieve this, Bugatti has made sure to reduce the car’s weight.

An 8.0-litre W16 engine?

According to a report revealed six weeks ago, the French manufacturer will equip the Divo with a quad-turbo 8.0-litre W16 engine linked to a gearbox derived from competition that will help improve the hypercar’s acceleration. The car is expected to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in under 2.5 seconds, that is, faster than the Bugatti Chiron.

Production of the Bugatti Divo will be limited to 40 units, and its price will be around 5 million euros, more than double that of a Chiron. The hypercar will be officially presented this week at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
