Ford Focus ST diesel: the compact reaches 200 CV thanks to Montune
The current generation of the Ford Focus ST diesel has received a package of upgrades from Montune.
If you have a Ford Focus ST diesel and would like your car to have a little more spice, today is your lucky day! The tuner Montune has launched a new upgrade kit designed for the 2.0 TDCi diesel engine of the Ford Focus ST with a manual gearbox.
Performance upgrade: 20 CV and 50 Nm

Montune’s upgrades affect solely and exclusively the performance of the Ford Focus ST diesel. With this kit, the American compact increases its power by 20 CV and 50 Nm of torque. This means the car reaches 202 CV of power and 450 Nm of torque. Thanks to this increase, the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.4 seconds, that is, 0.7 seconds faster than the standard model. Top speed remains at 217 km/h.

“The standard version of the Ford Focus ST diesel is a great car, but with the m460D kit (Montune’s), we have been able to make it smoother, faster and, overall, more fun to drive,” says Mountune Global Brand Manager David Moore.
Price: from €392
The new Montune package costs £481 in the United Kingdom if you opt for the installation included; however, to do so you will have to take the car to Hutton, where Montune’s base of operations in England is located. If, on the other hand, you prefer to do it yourself, Montune’s kit will cost you €392.

While Montune continues to launch upgrades for the current generation of the Ford Focus, the American firm is already preparing the arrival of the next Focus ST. Details are still scarce, but it could make use of the 2.3-litre Ecoboost petrol engine currently used by the Mustang in its entry-level version.
