Buying the new Luce gives you points to secure one of Ferrari's most sought-after models

The launch of the Luce not only represents Ferrari’s foray into electric mobility, but also a strategic tool to strengthen the Italian firm’s business model, which is based on loyalty and privileged access

Following the controversy that the official presentation of the Luce sparked a few days ago, a recent report indicates that Ferrari has decided to add this electric supercar to its exclusive model allocation system for loyal customers. According to several sources, this car will from now on be positioned as a gateway that gives wealthier clients access to the Cavallino Rampante range, allowing them to earn points that make it easier to obtain limited editions and the brand’s most coveted models.

Based on this report, which cites sources familiar with the internal strategy, the Luce will act as a stepping stone that grants access to more exclusive models. This information has also circulated among members of the Ferrari collector network, and several anonymous buyers of the brand have confirmed this strategy.

The Ferrari Luce was officially unveiled at the end of May. Although its design has drawn divided opinions, its technical proposition has received praise. With its first electric supercar, the Italian manufacturer has sought to bring the emotion and dynamism associated with Maranello into the era of electric mobility.

A new path begun by Ferrari

The Luce is built on a new, exclusively electric platform developed from scratch, integrating four electric motors that deliver up to 772 kW of power, paired with a 122 kWh battery pack. Unlike the brand’s traditional two-seat sports cars, the new Luce is a four-door, five-seat saloon, far from accessible, with a starting price exceeding 550,000 euros.

This is not the first time Ferrari has used incentives to reward customer loyalty. Those who regularly purchase the usual production models gain priority when booking the most special limited series. With the Luce, the Italian firm extends this philosophy to the electric segment, seeking to preserve exclusivity and strengthen ties with its most committed customer base.
