Cadillac ELR Coupe 2016: greater range and power

The sharp design of the Cadillac ELR Coupe comes with a series of improvements that refresh the model’s performance compared with the MY14 version. This 2016 variant has an exterior that is practically unchanged, except for an adjusted grille and the new Cadillac badge visible in several areas of the bodywork.
The updates to the 2016 Cadillac ELR Coupe are most evident in the hybrid system that powers it. Output has increased by 25%, up to 215 CV in Tour mode and up to 233 in Sport mode, thanks to a software update for the battery management system, which has also increased the all-electric range to 60 km, and up to 530 km when combined with the 1.4-litre petrol engine.

In numbers, these improvements translate into a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of 6.4 seconds for the 2016 ELR Coupe and a top speed of 210 km/h in Sport mode with the Performance Package, while in Normal mode this figure drops to 171 km/h.
With the Performance Package, the standard equipment is joined by components such as 20-inch wheels with high-performance tyres, suspension adjustments and continuously variable power steering, Brembo front brakes with four-piston calipers and a thicker sport steering wheel.
Inside the Cadillac ELR Coupe 2016 you will find three USB ports, an eight-inch configurable display, semi-aniline leather seats, Wi-Fi and 4G LTE connectivity, and an inductive charging point for mobile phones. Safety assistants such as blind spot alert, rear cross-traffic alert and IntelliBeam xenon headlights are standard equipment.
