Cadillac is courting customers in Japan with a spectacular exclusive version of the ATS
The Japanese market is receiving several exclusive models so that buyers can feel they own versions made specifically for this market, like those presented by BMW and now Cadillac, which joins this offer

The Asian market seems to mean “money,” and manufacturers are pouring effort into offering special variants of their models for these countries. Normally, the goal is China, a thriving market where buyers look for versions designed with them in mind. Basic models are being turned into objects of desire for buyers in the country, but this is not only happening in the Asian giant. Japan is another rising market, and the designers at Cadillac have set their sights on it.
For Japanese buyers who want something truly exclusive, the manufacturer from Detroit has reworked the Cadillac ATS, creating a one-off piece that, unfortunately, will not be seen in other countries. The American brand’s aim is to offer its Japanese customers cars that are exclusive to them, just as it has been doing BMW with some of its models, as we have also seen in previous articles. These are cars aimed at demanding customers who don’t want to be just one more in the world of these luxury brands.
New look for the ATS
This four-door sports saloon features five seats, aiming to stand up against the BMW with a different style that carries Cadillac’s signature into every corner of the model. The car rides on 19-inch wheels with a V-shaped design. These wheels are fitted with Pirelli P Zero tyres, measuring 225/35 R19 at the front and 255/30 R19 at the rear. The brakes have been replaced with Brembo units that provide the stopping power needed to control its output.

The suspension has also been reworked, with a sporting performance that matches the engine fitted to this model. This is a 2.0-litre turbocharged unit, with four cylinders, capable of delivering 272 CV and 400 Nm of peak torque, which will delight enthusiasts who want power dressed in luxury.
The exterior has also received exclusive treatment and will be available in two finishes. The first of the available colours is Sable Black, while the other is Crystal White, appealing to those who favour both dark and light colours. The price of this model is set at approximately 49,800 dollars. Unfortunately, it will not leave Japan, and only Japanese buyers will be able to enjoy it?
