Car thieves steal a limited-edition Audi R8 GT Spyder from a German dealership

If our colleague Dani previously told you about the astonishing mass theft of wheels from a German dealership, I bring you the theft of a very special car.
This astonishing theft took place in the city of Mönchengladbach (yes, I also found it hard to read), at a high-end dealership called Pegasus. The dealership has alerted the authorities to the theft of three of its spectacular sports cars, including the special edition Audi R8 GT Spyder shown in the photo.
The matte blue convertible supercar was last seen at 4:30 am on Friday on the A61 towards Cologne, but unfortunately no other details are currently available that could help the police authorities capture those responsible.

The Audi R8 GT Spyder debuted in 2011 as a special limited edition of 333 units, with several carbon-fibre parts such as the front spoiler, rear wing and rear diffuser. Its suspension sits 10 mm lower than that of the R8 V10 Spyder 5.2 and it comes equipped with tinted LED headlights, as well as grey titanium body accents.
As for its technical specifications, the Audi R8 GT Spyder is powered by a 5.2-litre V10 engine with natural aspiration. It also delivers a maximum torque of 540 Nm (412 kW), which is sent to the wheels through a 6-speed R tronic gearbox from Audi.
Weighing 1,640 kg, this limited-edition model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and has a top speed of 317 km/h. The starting price in Germany is €207,800.
