Check out these two incredible editions of the Toyota GR Yaris, even sportier than before

Toyota has unveiled two asphalt monsters, the GR Yaris Ogier Edition and Rovanperä Edition, in an explosion of adrenaline at the Monte Carlo Rally, marking the debut of these customised rockets created by champions Sébastien Ogier and Kalle Rovanperä.

These two machines are not simply rally cars; they are extensions of the essence and driving style of their creators. Sébastien Ogier has left his mark with “Morizo” and “Seb“, while Kalle Rovanperä draws donuts on the asphalt with the exclusive “Donut” mode and his own “Kalle“.

Exclusive features

The Ogier Edition, with its Matt Stealth Grey exterior, proudly carries the French flag on the BBS wheels and on the front grille. The “Seb” mode enriches the driving experience, allowing the driver to feel a total connection with the vehicle. The interior does not fall behind, with details that pay tribute to Ogier’s WRC victories, such as the commemorative plaques on the instrument cluster.

On the other hand, the Rovanperä Edition comes in a three-tone paint that blends perfectly with the exclusive “Donut” mode, designed solely for spinning. The BBS wheels and rear spoiler, a variable CFRP unit, highlight the unique style of this Finnish beast. The interior, with details in Finland’s national colours on the steering wheel, celebrates Rovanperä’s WRC victories.

The 18x8J BBS alloy wheels, with blue-painted brake calipers, bear the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing logo. Additional decals on the front doors and rear bumper, together with edition-specific badges on the tailgate, accentuate the sporty character. A variable CFRP rear spoiler completes the eye-catching exterior design.

Same three-cylinder engine

Both editions share a powerful engine: they are equipped with a 1.6-litre, three-cylinder turbocharged engine, delivering 280 CV and 390 Nm of torque. The smart six-speed manual gearbox provides precise control, while the all-wheel drive modes, such as Morizo, Seb and Normal for the Ogier Edition, and Donut, Kalle and Normal for the Rovanperä Edition, ensure a versatile driving experience.

With variable-speed constant-velocity rear differential gears, these special editions of the GR Yaris are among the best designs, inside and out, with a mechanical package that will leave no one with a bitter taste in their mouth.
