Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible 2014, first images

Chevrolet has published the first official images of the Corvette Stingray Convertible 2014, an American supercar designed to be enjoyed in the open air. These photographs were first shown on one of the brand’s social networks shortly before its debut at the 2013 Geneva International Motor Show.

Last month, the American brand released a first teaser showing the lines that would form the supercar’s bodywork. Now, the images show a Corvette with and without its roof, as well as a video in which it drives in front of the cameras for the first time.

Lacking information such as the extra weight of the convertible version or the range of colours available for the roof, I can only tell you that the first unit built will be auctioned in April at Barrett-Jackson. The money raised will go entirely to the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute.
