Citroën C5, Opel Astra and Insignia and Suzuki SX4 and Swift for service recall

As every Sunday, we have here a new roundup of recalls. Although lately, you may not have noticed this, they are almost always very new vehicles rather than models that had been on the market for four or five years, as used to happen.
Be that as it may, the National Consumer Institute has issued a very varied alert that includes everything from faults in the mirror screws to much more serious problems with brakes and airbags.
Without further ado, the problems detected are:
Citroën C5: According to the National Consumer Institute, the Citroën C5 may have a defect in the parking brake that is easily detected by the lack of resistance when pulling the lever.
Opel Astra and Insignia: Apparently both models may have problems with the anti-trapping system of the front electric windows, so if you are not very alert, you could get a painful scare. On the other hand, the Insignia must go to the workshop, apart from the window problem, due to a fault in the driver’s airbag module that could come away from its base during deployment.
Suzuki SX4 and Swift: It has been reported that both models must go to the workshop due to a problem with the screws used at the base of the side mirrors, which can loosen because of vibrations.
As always, if you have one of the above vehicles in your garage, you need not worry, since the brands will contact you to arrange its repair free of charge.
