Usain Bolt tests the 458 Italia and 599 GTB Fiorano

When you are an elite athlete as important to a brand as Usain Bolt is to Puma, you are usually looked after in every possible way. Proof of this is the Jamaican’s good taste in supercars and how much effort Puma puts into keeping him happy.

Thanks to his admiration for Italian supercars from Ferrari , the sprinter was invited to visit Maranello to test some of the most beautiful and extravagant cars in the Italian brand’s current range.

During this visit, after taking the relevant tour of the factory, he had the opportunity to get behind the wheel of a 458 Italia first, and then take the controls of a magnificent 599 GTB Fiorano.

“Driving around the Fiorano circuit has been exciting. It’s the first time I’ve had the chance to drive a Ferrari on a track, it’s a dream come true”, said Usain Bolt on finishing. “I thought I was fast, but these incredible cars give the word a whole new meaning. You have to have great respect for these machines. Being here at Ferrari’s headquarters is a memorable experience. I hope I can get one of these cars so I can stay anchored to speed”.
