Citroën is changing the My Ami’s range of versions with the arrival of the new Tonic version, which immediately replaces the Khaki and Vibe versions

More than 23,000 people have already opted for the Citroën My Ami in one of its versions, a vehicle that in its still short life has managed to position itself as the leader of its segment in very little time, largely thanks to its simple and practical features, which have also been made the most of to offer a version aimed at professionals, the My Ami Cargo.

Now the My Ami is restructuring its range of versions to make it even more eye-catching, as if it needed it, with the introduction of the new Tonic version, which is characterised by more vivid colours both outside and inside, and which will also come with a selection of equipment taken from the various versions available for the Citroën My Ami.

Citroën My Ami Tonic (1)

The Citroën My Ami Tonic features an exterior colour combination in which khaki and yellow take centre stage. The former evokes relaxation, calm and nature, something the My Ami embodies as a fully electric vehicle, and it is present in elements such as the exterior trim and the decals on the lower part of the doors. Yellow, the other colour, appears on elements such as the front trim, the direction arrows that guide occupants, or those placed on the wheel arches to check that the wheels are properly aligned.

Both colours are also present in the interior, as one would expect: khaki can be found in the storage compartments integrated into the dashboard and on the edges of the door pockets, while yellow appears on the handles used to open and close the doors from inside the cabin and on the bag hook on the passenger side. There are other fun details, such as the white direction arrows applied to the inside of the doors in a descending sequence to show how to operate the door handle, along with a sticker on the window flaps that shows the GPS coordinates of the Stellantis Group’s technical centre.

In terms of equipment, the Citroën My Ami Tonic adopts elements from other versions, such as the wheel trims, the black windscreen panel, a colour that is also used for the wheel arches which, together with the front and rear bumpers, create a greater sense of robustness, roof bars, or trim for the headlights that attempts to create the effect of sunglasses. Mechanically, it still features the electric motor producing 8.2 CV and the 5.5 kWh battery, which allows it to achieve a range of 70 km.

The Citroën My Ami Tonic replaces the My Ami Khaki and My Ami Vibe versions, which will be discontinued. Sales have already begun in several European countries, including Spain, where it is available from 8,990 euros in cash and with taxes included.
