Citroën’s new range of camper vehicles is ready to offer those who choose these vehicles for their holidays the comforts they need

Citroen Gama Camper

Camper vans have become a good option for enjoying a holiday with very modest costs while allowing you to travel to many interesting places. So we can find many vans converted into campers, both customised and offered directly by the brands. Citroën also knows there is a market for these vehicles and has presented three camperised vehicles so we can enjoy our holidays at any time.

There are three models: the Citroën Berlingo by Tinkervan, the Citroën SpaceTourer by Tinkervan and the new Citroën Jumper, which, as the title shows, were developed together with Tinkervan, the customiser that has turned these commercial vehicles into leisure vehicles fitted with all the necessary equipment.

Citroen Berlingo Tinkervan Camper

Citroën Berlingo by Tinkervan

The Citroën Berlingo by Tinkervan is designed for those who want to enjoy a camper van without giving up the ability to drive around the city. Even so, it offers equipment that is perfectly suitable for enjoying a few days in the countryside, with the basic comforts.

The van, which is small in size, offers several options, so buyers can find the one that best suits them. From viscoelastic mattresses, folding table, swivel seats, fridge or even an outdoor shower. Everything ready to enjoy. But if it is not needed, it can be used as a normal vehicle with five usable seats.

In addition, the Citroën Berlingo by Tinkervan comes with an auxiliary battery with a 12 V to 230 V inverter, which allows small appliances to be used during leisure trips. This option becomes very attractive for anyone who wants a versatile vehicle for both everyday driving and holiday travel.

Citroën SpaceTourer by Tinkervan

The second model presented by the French manufacturer is the Citroën SpaceTourer by Tinkervan, which adapts this commercial vehicle, slightly larger than the previous one, and offers a somewhat higher level of comfort. In this model the folding table can be fitted both inside and outside, offering more ways to enjoy the outdoors.

It also features swivel front seats, beds and a shower with a 12-litre tank. And since it is offered with several trim levels, other elements can be found to improve comfort and ease on the road. The top of the range is the Soul trim, which has a pop-up roof that raises electrically, where a 130 cm wide bed can be installed, along with a folding module with a kitchen, fridge and sink. It also has two windows with insect screens, very practical outdoors, a winter window and an LED reading lamp for those getaways.

The Sweet trim level, which is compatible with the M and XL body sizes, also includes two beds, one for children, making it ideal for family travel. The third trim level is called Free. It includes an additional diesel heating system, very practical for winter nights. This version can have a transparent pop-up roof, so you can sleep under the stars fully covered.

Citroën Jumper Camper

The largest camper van is the Citroën Jumper Camper, which aims to be the main rival of other campers such as the Volkswagen California. It is 6 metres long, so it can offer a level of comfort that surpasses its two sister models. Inside we find hot water, a bed for two people, a full bathroom with WC, shower and washbasin, and a well-equipped kitchen with burners, a fridge with freezer and a sink.

The interior furniture is wooden and the rear windows are tinted and fitted with insect screens. It can take two gas cylinders and has a 100-litre fresh water tank and a 92-litre waste water tank. Under the bonnet is a BlueHDI engine that delivers 140 CV with a six-speed manual gearbox.
