Coches Fantásticos 2008 Event Cancelled

Although we never reported on this blog that this event was scheduled to take place, I feel it is our duty to help spread the word about its cancellation in case any of you had planned to attend.

As you can see in the press release on their website, the organisers have decided to cancel this year’s event and postpone it until 2009 as the next date. The reasons remain unknown, and they claim they are unrelated to them. It is a shame for both the attendees and the participants, since this year’s edition — improving on the previous ones — would have brought together numerous American cars from films with great historical and sentimental value, as well as other American models alongside the undisputed stars, the Kitt replicas.

From here, we send our best wishes to everyone affected and to the organisers, hoping that the next event will deliver everything this one promised and more. See you next year, fellow enthusiasts.
