Proton wants to return to Europe

Proton is a leading sales company in Malaysia whose cars are also sold in Australia, Egypt, China and the United Kingdom, among others; and to give us a better idea of its importance, it currently owns Lotus.
For Europe the company is relatively unknown; however, Proton has confirmed its plans to introduce its models to the old continent from Turkey, even though this country is not part of the European Union.
The reasons for building its new production plant in that country are as clear as day, since cheap labor and its strategic position between the Middle East and the West open up a wide range of sales opportunities in different markets.
Let’s remember that some time ago Proton took its first tentative steps in Europe with disappointing results; however, we will see how its new venture unfolds in the difficult European market.
