Cybunker: the perfect garage for your Cybertruck and a second home

The Cybunker is presented as an idea by designer Lars Buro, who has imagined and recreated the perfect garage for the new Tesla Cybertruck.

The Cybunker is the latest idea to offer the best shelter for the highly anticipated new vehicle from Tesla, the Cybertruck. The idea comes from Lars Buro, a designer at the technology company itself.

The name, although it may lack a bit of imagination, is a perfect fit for the Cybertruck.

The inspiration behind the design is clearly based on the new electric pick-up from the manufacturer. Thin edges, straight lines and even a metallic grey colour complete a avant-garde design, just like the model’s.

According to the company, this special garage is built with “monocoque” metal, and thanks to its 55 square metres of space, there is enough room to house several vehicles and even incorporate a mini-workshop if you so wish.

As if that weren’t enough, the Cybunker is not only a perfect place to leave the new vehicle from Tesla. It also has an extra 167 m2 that can be used for commercial purposes or even converted into a house.

In the renders offered by the brand, we can see this futuristic garage in several settings, adapted to the terrain and climate. The truth is that, if you didn’t know what this was, many would think we’re looking at an extraterrestrial-looking building, which from our point of view is actually a positive thing.

It also features solar panels, which would serve as the main charging source to power the brand’s vehicles and to supply the possible “second home” and office that this garage could also provide.

Although for now it is nothing more than a concept, Lars Buro has acknowledged that the company will try to make the Cybunker a reality.

It seems that Tesla is now also betting on avant-garde architecture, with lines and designs that increasingly push our society towards the science fiction that many of us have learned to love through so many so many films and books.

Since it is still only a concept, its prices are not yet known, however, everything points to it not being cheap. But in the end, you are paying not just for a garage, but for a technological, intelligent and sustainable home, with a design that, personally, I love.
