Dacia Duster Extreme: the new limited series with generous equipment and a very eye-catching design

The Romanian brand has recently refreshed the line-up of its successful SUV, the Dacia Duster. A model that, being halfway through its life cycle, needed to be updated with a thorough facelift and several new features to keep it a genuinely attractive choice thanks to its outstanding value for money.

This refresh is joined by the launch of a very special limited series, called Dacia Duster Extreme, which gives it a distinctive character thanks to numerous design features and by being equipped with the very best of the low-cost brand Renault.

Orange elements as a signature detail

Throughout the car, we highlight the orange colour at several points: on the front grille, in subtle stripes on the wing mirrors, in the Duster lettering on the roof bars, and again in the model name on the tailgate.

Dacia offers several colour options for this special series, namely six different shades: Pearl Black, Comet Grey, Iron Blue, Arizona Orange or Urban Grey, the colour of the pictured unit, which suits the orange distinctive details and the black contrasting elements, such as the aluminium wheels in 17-inch size that this special edition will fit.

The orange details are not limited to the exterior: inside, we also find this colour on the ventilation nozzles, door mouldings and the centre console where the legs rest. In addition, the orange stitching contrasting with the black upholstery stands out, highlighting these Extreme edition details.

Equipment without compromise

As mentioned earlier, one of the strengths of the new Dacia Duster Extreme is its generous standard equipment. This is because it is based on the Prestige trim, that is, the highest within the brand, which features an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, navigation, automatic climate control, automatic headlights, multi-view camera, cruise control and speed limiter, multifunction steering wheel adjustable for height and reach, front centre armrest, and electric windows, among other features.

As for the engines, the new Dacia Duster Extreme will offer the most powerful units in the brand’s range, including one with an automatic gearbox that comes with the renewal of this second generation of the model.

For now, we will have to wait to learn more about its price, how many units will be produced, or the exact moment in 2022 when it will reach dealerships.
