Dacia Sandero, the best-selling model in Spain in 2024

For several years now, the top of the best-selling models in our country has been dominated by one brand and, within it, by one model. Dacia has become a very popular brand and was the second best-selling brand in the Spanish market during 2024. And within this very popular brand, we find a model that is the best-seller across all sales channels. The Dacia Sandero is, once again, the favourite of Spanish buyers.

Sales of the Dacia Sandero reached 33,331 units registered in Spain, which places it ahead of the rest and makes it the most popular choice when buying a new car. Since its launch in 2008, it has been carving out a place in the market, and since 2013 it has topped this eagerly awaited year-end list.

Since then, around 300,000 units have reached the hands of Spanish drivers. Of these, 75% are units of the Stepway version, which has a bolder, more dynamic and sporty look. But the Dacia Sandero does not stand alone at the top of the list.

The Dacia Duster also sits near the top of the list. This B-segment SUV has also been one of the best-sellers in the private customer channel. In total, 9,036 units were registered throughout 2024. The arrival of the Hybrid 140 version has helped it become the third best-selling model within its range in Spain.

Another Dacia model also makes it onto the best-seller list within its range. In the C-Break segment, we find the Dacia Jogger, the seven-seat model from the Romanian brand. It ranks second in the private-sales channel in its segment.

Dacia is also the leader in LPG technology, with a 77% market share in our country. The value-for-money ratio of these models keeps the brand among the Spanish public’s favourites.
