When a motor show of the size and importance of the Geneva Motor Show arrives, we expect to see a great variety of cars. Among them, several truly impressive concept cars. And also those supercars that make us dream of getting behind the wheel of one of them and flying over the asphalt. One of those “hypercars” is the Denbrobium, a 100% electric supercar that Vanda Electrics will present at the Swiss event.

The spectacular design of the car, which we can see in these images revealed ahead of the official presentation on March 7, was developed by the engineers of Vada Electrics, a company based in Singapore, but they have also had the help and collaboration of Williams Advanced Engineering, the technology arm of Williams Group and its Formula 1 division. The partnership between the two companies has led to the creation of this model, with a technological level that seems to be well above what we usually see on the market. Or so we are told.

Apparently, the hand of the Williams Group team can be seen in the car’s aerodynamics, as well as in the design of the batteries and the drivetrain. The car’s styling is quite interesting, with a powerful image that gives us a very attractive and dynamic car. The rear wing dominates that image, which we can see in the brief teasers they want to show us. We know, for example, that the doors and roof will open in a coordinated way, aiming for an image that recalls an open Denbrobium flower, since that is what gives the model its name.

As for the interior, there are no images yet of everything we will find inside, but Vanda Electrics assures us that the Scottish leather from the brand Bridge of Weir will have a prominent presence throughout. In the video, however, we can see the design of the steering wheel and the presence of one main screen and two secondary ones, which will probably be used to show what the two side cameras capture, replacing the rear-view mirrors. An option that cannot yet be taken seriously because there is no legislation on the matter.

The drivetrain has not been revealed, but rumors point to an output equivalent to 1,500 CV, something to keep in mind. This power could bring acceleration to around 2.5 seconds, although no top speed or range is mentioned. We will wait a few more days to see all the information available about the car in full. What do you think of Vanda Electrics’ electric supercar?
