Discover the original method developed in China for protecting a parked car

Chinese engineers have devised an original and safe system for keeping a car parked outdoors securely. It uses a canvas cover system that protects the vehicle from the sun and bad weather, and keeps it out of reach of birds and other sources of dirt.

The imagination and inventiveness of engineers always bring us some invention that seeks to make our lives more pleasant and simpler. This is the case of a Chinese company that has developed a method for keeping a car parked, clean, protected and ready to start without problems, with removable protection. It is quite a practical solution that can be installed in outdoor parking areas and that guarantees the car will be safe.

It may seem trivial, but we have all surely thought of the ancestors of a cheerful little bird that has left us a memento on the bonnet of the car. Have you never tried parking under a tree in spring? Between the pollen released by its flowers, the fruit that falls to the ground (and onto the car) and the reminders left by birds, it is quite unpleasant to get behind the wheel to drive it to the car wash.

This device also protects the car from the effects of the sun and the stifling heat recorded in summer. It is a fabric cover that unfolds and covers the car. It is installed on a base located in the parking space and covers the car completely, keeping it safe underneath.

This invention has been distributed in China and other Asian countries for a couple of years, and there are even several models available. The most advanced ones have an electric motor that unfolds the fabric, so it is not necessary to do it manually. The simpler ones have to be unfolded by hand, although they are just as easy to use.

I have not seen this type of solution for keeping the car protected on the street in Spain, and that is a shame, because it is something very simple and that turns out to be very practical. In short, it is a covered car park on the open street. A good idea that could be exported and that I would not mind seeing in outdoor car parks in Spain.
