Dodge reveals the interior of the 2011 Journey

Little or nothing is aesthetically different in the Dodge 2011 Journey from the model you can currently find at any dealership. However, all the changes the Group Chrysler has left out of its styling can be found in the cabin, which has been almost entirely renovated to better suit the new year.

Aesthetically, as you can see, you will only find differences in the new, slightly redesigned grille, 19-inch alloy wheels and new LED taillights. On the other hand, the new, sportier body kit deserves a mention, made up of new bumpers, which you can see in the photos in the gallery, and which will only be available on units equipped with the 3.6 V6 engine with 283 hp.

Leaving these minor details aside, let us move on to the new cabin. As you can see in the photos, it has been completely redesigned, integrating a new navigation system with a colour screen which, together with an attractive rev counter, illuminated cupholder and generous padded surfaces, gives the model a much more attractive, modern and sporty feel.

On the other hand, the new software built into the navigation system deserves a mention. For example, currently available only in the United States, it will let the driver check fuel prices at nearby petrol stations at all times.

As you well know, since Dodge has abandoned the European market in a rather bad way, the 2011 Journey will not be sold in Europe, although Fiat has already hurried to announce that it will launch its own derivative of this interesting model in 2012.
