DS Automobiles opens reservations in Europe for the N°8 extreme luxury electric SUV Coupé
The French manufacturer brings a new rival to the segment of fully electric SUV Coupés, standing out from the rest with its new proposition: an avant-garde design, cutting-edge technology and a surprising range.
DS Automobiles, the French premium vehicle brand belonging to Stellantis, has just opened order books for its most ambitious vehicle to date. The DS N°8 is a fully electric SUV Coupé inspired by the DS Aero Sport Lounge prototype presented in 2020, and its final production version was unveiled to the public just over a month ago, in December of last year.
Based on Stellantis’ STLA Medium platform, this model stands out for its striking design, with an elegant yet sporty silhouette, to which its V-shaped light signature at the front and three-dimensional rear lights undoubtedly contribute. Its interior, for its part, is equally eye-catching, with a floating dashboard that extends to the doors, creating an enveloping effect, dominated by a panoramic central screen.

The French manufacturer intends to position this new electric model as an alternative to other high-end premium electric SUVs such as the Mercedes EQE SUV or the Audi Q8 e-tron, and to do so it presents as its main selling point not only its design, but also its road performance, with a range of up to 750 km.
Available versions and price
In Germany, the entry-level version of the range, with front-wheel drive and the standard battery pack, called Pallas FWD, is available from 57,700 euros. The French manufacturer offers four more versions of its N°8 SUV Coupé in order to meet the specific needs of each of its customers. Thus, the N°8 Pallas FWD is also available in Germany with a higher-capacity battery pack for 63,200 euros. One step up, the Étoile FWD version with the standard battery pack costs 65,100 euros, rising to 71 thousand euros if equipped with the higher-capacity battery pack. Finally, at the top of the range, the N°8 Étoile AWD Long Range, with extended range and all-wheel drive, is priced in Germany at 75 thousand euros.

Besides Germany, DS Automobiles is accepting orders in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Belgium, with the intention of beginning the first deliveries in the second half of this same year. With the N°8, the French manufacturer seeks to position itself in the luxury segment, offering a vehicle that combines innovative design, advanced technology and a remarkable electric range.
