Eagle Speedster, paying tribute to the classic Jaguar E-Type

Eagle, a British specialist in classic vehicle restoration devoted almost exclusively to the Jaguar E-Type, has just unveiled its latest creation, in which it set out to demonstrate its deep knowledge of a car like the Jaguar E-Type and, killing two birds with one stone, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the model with a unique creation, the Eagle Speedster.
According to the company, the car you see on screen was created exclusively and at the express request of the American Velaj Rick, who, after a complex design study, got the vehicle he had in mind: a bespoke E-Type with numerous details designed and personalised to the buyer’s taste, all mounted on an aluminium chassis built with the most advanced technology.

Beneath that classic appearance is a full-blown supercar, because, among other things, this vehicle features a 4.7-litre V6 engine coupled to a five-speed manual gearbox, with which it is capable of delivering no less than 460 Nm of peak torque to the rear wheels, enough to move the just under 1,100 kg of this 2011 E-Type with complete ease.
To improve the handling of this vehicle as much as possible, the company decided to fit elements such as an optimised sports suspension, a braking system to match its performance, and high-performance tyres, all necessary to drive your new E-Type on the track or in the city without major problems.
In the cabin, as you can see in the photos, certain changes have been made, such as a much lower driving position for a far sportier feel, and a central console in aluminium shaped like a “cascade” that descends smoothly between the two seats to blend masterfully with the raised central tunnel.
