Infiniti FX 30d S falls into the hands of AHG Sports

Personally, “tuning” (if we can call it that for a project that can end up costing considerably more than we might initially think) a car like the Infiniti FX 30d S is very difficult, so much so that, as you can see, very few bold souls have dared to get their hands on this platform. Among those bold ones, today I want to present to you the latest project from AHG Sports.

Aesthetically, as you can see in the photos, little or nothing has changed in the appearance of this enormous SUV except for the installation of huge Schmidt Revolucion three-piece wheels in 21 inches, with the center section painted black and a polished steel lip. To fit these enormous rims, four 295/40 ZR21 tyres have been used. It is also worth noting the installation of a sport suspension, which has lowered the ride height by 25 mm.

Mechanically, AHG Sports has published certain modifications to the enormous diesel engine fitted to the Infiniti FX 30d S, with which power has been increased from the original 238 hp to a more than desirable 280 hp and 600 Nm of peak torque.

Now, let’s talk about prices. According to AHG Sports, the wheels cost €7,900, a price that also includes the tyres, their fitting and balancing. On the other hand, the lowered sport suspension will be available for €1,495, to which must be added the €1,250 that the engine tuning costs.

As a negative point, I must mention that the mechanical modifications have not yet been approved by the German TÜV, so if you want to avoid being penalised if stopped by the police, you will have to wait a little longer for the tuner to obtain that approval.
