Megane Renault Sedans Range / versions
Elegance and style with the saloon version of the Renault Megane

Throughout this year we have seen several versions of the RenaultRenault Megane, and we have been wondering when we would see the saloon version of this popular French model. Today, the diamond brand has finally revealed images of a much-anticipated model that will soon be on the roads of more than 20 countries. This is the third body style offering, joining the hatchback and estate, and completing the range of a model that has been renewed with elegant touches that are extremely striking.
Let’s focus on the lighting, both front and rear. At the front, the design of the rest of the Megane is retained. The design of its headlights reinforces its image and makes it a truly visible car, both in daytime traffic, with LED lights that define the car’s look even at night, when its headlights make the model unmistakable.
At the rear is where the most changes have been made, as this is where it differs from the other variants. The LED lights extend to the centre, where the Renault logo can be seen, and also create a recognisable and attractive light bar. The boot has also increased in capacity, reaching 508 litres. It also features hands-free opening technology, something very practical that is becoming common on many models and certainly makes life and using the car easier.

Inside, the standard equipment of the Megane is retained, with an 8.7-inch screen that controls the R-Link 2 infotainment system. The safety and driver-assistance systems found in other versions are also included in this saloon version.
The engine range is well served, with two petrol and three diesel options. The first will feature the naturally aspirated SCe 115 engine, with either a five-speed manual gearbox or the CVT automatic, and the turbocharged TCe 130 engine, with a six-speed manual or a seven-speed EDC dual-clutch automatic.
The diesel engines start with the dCi 90, the dCi 110 and the dCi 130, all paired with a five-speed manual gearbox, although the dCi 110 can also be paired with a six-speed EDC automatic. This model will be manufactured at the Bursa plant in Turkey and is planned to be sold in more than 20 countries.
