Ferrari patents a new gullwing door design

Ferrari is working on a new gullwing doors design, which could be revolutionary or even ridiculous, depending on the point of view. What is beyond doubt is that they will be novel, from a design standpoint, and nothing like them has ever been seen, except in some concept from a few years back, namely by Giugiaro, if memory serves me right.
According to the graphics published in Autocar, showing what seems to be a Aston Martin (??), the doors would not be anchored from the centre of the roof, but instead follow the line of the roof. And the strangest detail of all: when opened, part of the bodywork would also open, the section of the wing behind the front wheel. The opening line even continues beyond the wheels, as can be seen in the drawing.
The drawings are part of patent filings that Ferrari is reportedly trying to register with some property registry. Apparently, this design would be applied to the Scaglietti or some model with a front-mounted engine, which Ferrari is reportedly planning.
There is no doubt that it is very odd, but coming from Ferrari everything is forgiven.
