As you may recall, a few days ago Ferrari unveiled its Ferrari 458 Challenge, the vehicle that will star in the upcoming one-make championships of the Italian brand held across much of Europe and North America, and in future years in Asia.

As is customary with this type of vehicle, Ferrari has taken all the time needed to fine-tune it to the standard expected of a car of this kind, enough for the brand to offer us videos that will surely put a smile on your face on a cold day like the one we had this Sunday.

The sound you can hear through your computer speakers is what Ferrari has managed to extract from a magnificent 4.5-litre V8, with which the 458 Challenge is capable of producing no less than 570 CV, exactly the same power as its road-going counterpart, the 458 Italia.

On the other hand, as you would expect, this vehicle has changes compared to the Italia, changes its owners will surely appreciate since nearly all of them relate to the gear ratios of the F1 dual-clutch automatic gearbox, as well as the exhaust, specially designed to compete with this vehicle.

As is logical when creating a vehicle intended for competition, Ferrari has removed everything unnecessary from a cabin otherwise full of comfort and good taste, reducing the thickness of the body panels and even replacing the windows with Lexan. As for the suspension, we are now looking at a spring kit designed for competition.
