Fiat 500L Living for the 500's seventh anniversary

Fiat is trying to reach a wider audience with its flagship model, the Fiat 500. Next month, the Italian brand will celebrate the seventh anniversary of the 500, and what better way to do so than with a new variant of the 500L aimed at a more specific audience, those who above all seek capacity and comfort, and which will be the perfect car for large families.
We are referring to the Fiat 500L Living, a model that will join the sizeable MPV segment, with the not-inconsiderable figure of 5+2 seats in just over 4 metres of length. Although this is not a model that stands out for generous size, in the style of the estates of yesteryear, it will undoubtedly win many fans by offering the added value of an extra third row of seats.
As for the engine range, the Fiat 500L Living is expected to feature two petrol engines, the 1.4 16v with 95 CV and the 0.9 TwinAir Turbo with 105 hp. They will be joined by two other turbodiesel engines: the 105 hp Multijet II and the 1.3 Multijet II with 85 CV, the latter with an automatic gearbox. At this stage, fuel consumption and emissions figures for these engines in this new body variant are not yet available.
The 500L Living will also be available with many personalisation options. Two trim levels are planned, covering the 5- and 7-seat models, along with 19 body colours, several types of wheels and several upholstery styles for the interior. No fewer than 282 possible combinations, counting all the personalisation options. The new equipment will include an integrated navigation system and a rear camera, among other features.
From next July, the 500L Living can be ordered in Italy. Manufactured in Kragujevac, Serbia, its arrival in the rest of the European countries, including Spain, is already planned for the following months.
