Two new images of the Toyota Land Cruiser off-roader in its 3-door version. For now they correspond to the version sold in Australia under the name Toyota Prado, but it should not differ from the one sold in Spain before long. The Toyota Land Cruiser 5-door will go on sale just before Christmas.

This model has a more sporty character: very muscular wheel arches and a more aggressive look than the 5-door version. The aesthetic changes affect the grille and the lights, which are sharper, recalling the unsuccessful headlights of the BMW 5 Series , and the dashboard, giving it a more modern look.

This version will have a cabin for 5 seats rather than 7, like its 5-door counterpart. The dimensions of the 5-door version are practically the same and it will include a 3.0 diesel engine that reduces its power by 30 CV, down to 173 CV , and achieves lower consumption. This change to reduce consumption and emissions will probably also affect the 3-door version.

All 2010 Land Cruisers will have 7 airbags, stability control and some extra equipment as standard.
