Honda Hybrid Cars Concepts Coupés Photos
First official photos of the Honda CR-Z Sport Coupe

The successor to Honda’s small coupé, the CR-X, is finally here. It is the Honda CR-Z, a hybrid, petrol-electric model that will be unveiled next month at the Tokyo Motor Show. Although it is still a concept, the model will undergo few changes compared with the final version, as its launch is expected in February 1010.
At first glance, the CR-Z Concept 2009 does not seem to be very different from the original CR-Z concept car shown at the Tokyo show in 2007. However, as we can see in the photos, the front and rear are completely new, giving the model a different profile.
So far, there is nothing official about the CR-Z’s hybrid engine, but recent reports indicate that it will feature a 1.5-litre petrol engine combined with a powerful electric motor.
As we mentioned at the time, with this new model, which has a more relaxed and sporty character, the range of vehicles Honda that incorporate its IMA (Integrated Motor Assist) hybrid system will be strengthened, alongside the Civic hybrid and the Insight. There will be more members, however, since Honda has announced that the compact MPV Jazz will also get a hybrid variant next year.
