Ford Grand C-Max, first images leaked

A few days ago we previewed the new look of the Ford C-Max, and as expected, if it wanted to compete in the segment of the Citroën Picasso or the Renault Scenic, it needed a larger version: here is the Ford Grand C-Max.

One of the main new features of the Ford Grand C-Max is its sliding side doors and its larger size, as it now offers seven seats (the two rear ones for children or smaller people), just like its respective competitors in the segment. In addition, photos of its interior have also been leaked, which has undergone quite profound changes.

The centre console now has a much more modern look, and the upper screen deserves a mention, as does the new climate control. One thing that doesn’t change is the Sony sound system. Furthermore, this lengthened version of the C-Max moves the exterior design away from the Kuga, since the compact version bears some similarities to it.

For more details we will have to wait until 11 a.m. on 15 September, when the Ford C-Max will be officially presented at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show.
