Ford required to sell European models in the United States

The American company reported that its second fiscal quarter has been one of the worst in its history, with a loss of $8.7 billion.
For this reason, the company is forced to accelerate even further its commercial restructuring plans, with the introduction of six compact cars initially aimed only at the old continent, among which is the Ford four- and five-door Fiesta, in addition to the 2010 Focus.
And despite earlier reports mentioning the closure of Mercury, the company has announced that it will revitalise the brand’s image with new models, as well as that of the almost forgotten Lincoln.
The question is, will Ford be able to withstand the crisis it faces for the time needed to carry out all the changes? The truth is that the company’s moves are being managed according to the market, and the objectives may well be achieved; however, there is still quite a long way to go.
