Ford Transit Randger 560 Trigano: the 4x4 motorhome arrives
Ford has teamed up with Trigano to bring a product based on the Ford Transit, called the Randger 560. It is presented as a motorhome with 4×4 capabilities.

Little by little, the off-road world is being left behind, and vehicles capable of tackling any type of terrain are increasingly focused on offering excellent ride quality on the road. But Ford disagrees with this and has wanted to give a radical touch to one of its best-selling vans, the Ford Transit.
The Ford van sets aside its life as a commercial vehicle and dons its finest motorhome attire. The American brand seeks to provide a comfortable and luxurious experience inside, while also being adventurous. This is possible thanks to the 4×4 setup given to the Ford Transit.
Ford has joined forces with Trigano to complement its Transit and create a highly versatile vehicle for travel. Thanks to the all-wheel-drive system fitted to the van, it becomes the perfect base for the Randger 560 motorhome from the Trigano group.

After passing through the hands of the French company, the Ford Transit takes on a look much more geared toward personal use and off-road driving. There is a very aggressive front bumper, featuring a guard designed to cross any kind of obstacle. Additionally, the wheel arches are higher, aiming to provide optimal progress in any circumstance.
The four-wheel-drive system fitted to the Transit allows the vehicle to distribute torque between both axles depending on the terrain’s needs. In this way, the Randger 560 offers the ability to send 50% of torque to the front axle in order to prevent the rear wheels from spinning.
But the AWD system adds weight to the Ford Transit. To move the Randger 560 with ease, Ford has installed a 2.0 EcoBlue diesel engine producing 170 CV. For those who do not need this level of power, the same engine is also offered with 130 CV, both paired with a six-speed manual gearbox.
Ford places full trust in its collaboration with Trigano and, to instill the same confidence in its customers, the American brand offers an extended five-year warranty on all Transits used as the base for the Randger 560.

The new motorhome from Ford and Trigano offers a luxurious interior packed with the latest technology and comforts, so that travelling in the Randger 560 becomes a unique and very comfortable experience. The Transit offers four berths and all the comforts of a home, with a kitchen and bathroom, the latter featuring an integrated shower.
The price of this collaboration is unknown but it is undoubtedly an option well worth considering for more adventurous customers. The Randger 560 is presented as one of the most accomplished and well-balanced motorhomes on the market.
