Foxxconn is growing and will now manufacture two electric models for Japanese brands
The Taiwanese technology giant is working on the launch of two electric models and two more models destined for two Japanese brands.

Foxxconn is one of those companies that aren’t very well known and that operate in the background, or even further back, but that are very important to the global automotive industry. They take on a fundamental service that goes unnoticed: they develop, design and manufacture technology products for other companies. Among those products are electric cars as well.
Its business model is to provide outsourced services for more or less well-known brands, in addition to launching its own models on the Asian market and other markets, such as Europe or the United States. Now, it has just announced that it will produce four new models. Two of them will appear on the Taiwanese market and in other countries in the region under its own brand, but the other two are destined for well-known Japanese brands.

We still don’t know which brands they will be, although it is speculated that one of them will be Nissan, a brand going through a difficult time that not long ago failed in an attempt to merge with Honda. In fact, a persistent rumor claims that Foxxconn wants to buy the brand and revive it in the international market.

Foxxconn’s models
The Taiwanese giant is also working on the launch of two of its own models, named Foxtron Model B and Model C. The first of them is a compact model with an electric drivetrain designed by Pininfarina. Traction is handled by an electric motor that delivers 230 CV. In this case, the battery pack installed in the model offers a range of up to 450 kilometers under the CLTC homologation cycle, which is more lenient than the European WLTP.
The Foxxconn Model C will begin production in the United States in the fourth quarter of 2025. It is a SUV that was presented as a concept car in 2021 and has undergone some changes since then, always seeking to improve what it offered at the time. The company claimed that the Foxxconn Model C could cover up to 700 kilometers on a single charge.
