Growing concern about atmospheric emissions and transport has led the company Futur-moto, based in Terrassa and beginning its journey not only at national level but also beyond our borders, to create the Ceo2Cero project to promote ecological policy to combat the greenhouse effect and the reduction of gases.

Futur-moto offers individuals, companies and Public Administrations a service importing fully electric Asian motorcycles, and in the near future it will also have a two-seat urban convertible. Its goal is to beat government forecasts of installing 2,000 electric vehicles by 2010, aiming to reach 3,000 including its motorcycles.

The brand offers several models and power outputs, from 2,000 W (49cc), 3,000 W (75cc) and 5,000 W (125cc) , with top speeds ranging from 60 km/h (49cc) up to 90 km/h, reached by the 125. Ranges vary from 60 km for the 49cc model up to 80 km for the 125cc, passing through the 70 km range of the 75cc.

The good thing about these motorcycles is that the battery can be charged by plugging into any standard household socket for just five hours, achieving up to 80 km of range at a maximum speed of 90 km/h. It would be good to know how many kilometres we can cover at 90 km/h, that is, whether we can travel the full 80 km at 90 km/h or must go at a lower speed, and if so, what that speed would be. Either way, it is progress, and steps forward continue to be taken in this regard.
