Gumpert recovers from bankruptcy and appears at the Geneva Motor Show

After Gumpert Sportwagenmanufaktur GmbH declared bankruptcy in mid-last year, few held out any hope for the creator of the Gumpert Apollo. It looked set to join the group of small brands that have followed the path to bankruptcy, of which there have been many in recent years.
However, we began the year with encouraging news for Gumpert. A new investor had been found who would be willing to invest in the brand, after its adventure in China ended very badly. In fact, the investor is reportedly of Chinese origin, a detail that has not been revealed. Gumpert has now come back to life, even bringing a pair of Apollo S models to the latest Geneva Motor Show.
The spokesperson designated by the brand has announced that they have a new investor willing to save what remains of the manufacturer, through the launch of road cars derived from the famous Apollo. The new models will be shown at one of the upcoming European shows, as promised in Geneva.
Meanwhile, the most advanced thing Gumpert currently has is the Apollo S, capable of producing 750 CV. What has become of the Apollo R and Apollo Enraged that they presented at the same show around this time?
