Hennessey boosts the Lincoln Navigator to 600 CV and an unstoppable image

Texas-based tuning company Hennessey has dared to work on the Lincoln Navigator and has managed to increase its output to 600 CV

Hennessey is a company dedicated to offering striking versions of fairly popular models. This Texas-based company has this time focused on a purely American model, the kind we won’t see on our roads, designed exclusively for cruising the wide American highways. The Lincoln Navigator left the factory with a 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 that powers the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor. But the company wanted to go a step further and has managed to considerably increase the 450 CV this engine delivers.

Hennessey’s version reaches 600 CV of power, with special treatment that makes its performance as spectacular as one would expect from a vehicle like this. That is 150 CV more than the factory offers, so the improvements are considerable and reveal the full potential this model can achieve. The changes involve recalibrating the engine management software and, in addition, several mechanical components have been modified to improve its behaviour, such as a high-flow intake, a stainless steel exhaust and other small touches that boost performance.

This upgrade is similar to the one applied to the Ford Raptor to turn it into a VelociRaptor 600, which has been bought by hundreds of new owners of this powerful model. Once this model was upgraded, something similar was done to the Lincoln Navigator, which basically has the same engine and can be modified in a similar way. But the engine is not the only area that was worked on to deliver this increased power.

The suspension has been improved and they have also fitted this powerful SUV with monoblock alloy wheels, paired with Brembo brakes capable of keeping full control over the power produced by the engine. With all this, Hennessey claims a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in 4.8 seconds and covers the quarter mile, a speed test very common in the United States to assess how a car performs, in just 12.9 seconds at 172 km/h.

We won’t see this model in Spain, but I’m convinced there are quite a few of us who would love to get behind the wheel of this American beast, which would offer an excellent experience to anyone who can, right?
