Honda Civic Type R Mugen 2.2

As you well know, a few months ago the Honda Civic Type R as we know it had to say goodbye due to emissions from its engine block, something that surely caused many people an irreparable heartache but that they will surely get over once they learn about the generation that is yet to come.
Well then, to give a fitting farewell to a car that many of us have dreamed about, we have the latest project presented by a tuner of Mugen’s stature, which will reach the European market as a small limited edition under the name Honda Civic Type R Mugen 2.2

According to what we have been able to learn, this new limited edition will stand out for something as simple as an increase in displacement to 2.2 litres, enough to homologate a final output of 260 hp and 240 Nm of peak torque, something hard to digest but which, thanks to a new front limited-slip differential, will be easier to tame.
On the other hand, I should tell you that this will be the last model to fit the well-known and beloved K20, a truly remarkable engine that has managed to live and endure for many more years than originally expected, something that without a doubt tells us about the calibre of engine that Honda created at the time Honda
