Honda Jazz 2018: more sporty, spacious and with the latest safety features
The Honda Jazz 2018 arrives on the market with several changes, including a sportier design, a new petrol engine and a set of active safety assistants.
The new Honda Jazz 2018, the latest version of the Japanese city car, arrives on the market with a sportier design, a more dynamic chassis, new petrol engines and a set of cutting-edge safety assistants.
The new model retains the classic silhouette of the Jazz, but boasts a sportier style thanks to the incorporation of a bolder front end and more pronounced lines. In addition, the car adds a new Dynamiq version to the range, a variant with a more aggressive approach.

The new Jazz is available in three metallic paint finishes (Alabaster Silver, Tinted Silver and Brilliant Sporty Blue), three pearl finishes (White Orchid and Crystal Black) and two solid colours (Milano Red and Sunset Orange).
The Jazz offers unrivalled cargo space in its segment. Boot capacity is 354 litres with the rear seats in their normal position, and 897 litres with the rear seats folded down. In addition, the Honda Magic Seats at the rear of the Jazz, with a 60:40 split, can adopt numerous positions in four modes that maximise the versatility of the spacious interior.

The new Honda Jazz features a more rigid body and a suspension setup specific to the European market. The changes were aimed at maximising driving pleasure on demanding European roads, allowing the suspension and steering to work with more precision than before.
The new Jazz is available with two powerful and efficient petrol engines – the well-known 1.3-litre i-VTEC with 75 kW (102 CV) from the Honda Earth Dreams Technology range, and the new 1.5-litre i-VTEC with 96 kW (130 CV). The latter is offered in the Jazz for the first time in Europe.

Like all new Honda cars, the Jazz is equipped with active and passive safety technologies designed to make driving easier and safer. These include the following:
- Front collision warning
- Traffic sign recognition system
- Intelligent speed limiter
- Lane departure warning system
- High beam assist system
- Passive safety integrated into the structure
