Honda will unveil the new Jazz prototype at the 2014 Paris Motor Show
Honda will present at the 2014 Paris Motor Show the new generation of the Honda Jazz, in the form of a prototype showing the changes made to this small segment B car, which features a longer body and a greater wheelbase to improve interior space

Information keeps arriving about the new products that the various brands will present at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, which takes place in a few weeks in the French capital. Every day we receive one or two proposals, such as the one Honda is presenting regarding its Jazz model, which will receive a redesign next year.
The new Jazz will be displayed on the brand’s stand, but we already have some of the images provided by Honda. The images show a different and new style for Honda’s segment B car, with an increase in body size and wheelbase to give the cabin more space for its occupants.
The body length increases by 15 mm, while the wheelbase has grown by 30 mm, a figure that allows greater comfort in the rear seats. The platform used in this new generation of the Honda Jazz is the global platform currently used by Honda.
The new generation of the model will keep the fuel tank in a central position, a layout shared by the current version as well as the Civic and the recently announced HR-V. This tank position allows more interior comfort and greater cargo capacity.

It also features a new suspension system that will improve the driving feel on board. As for the engine, it will incorporate the new 1.3-litre i-VTEC petrol engine, which can be paired with either a six-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic.
The new Honda Jazz will go on sale in Spain from 2015, although the presentation conference will take place on 2 October as part of the 2014 Paris Motor Show.
