How fast will the Corvette go?

We all envy the users of the Autobahn in Germany for their freedom to drive at unlimited speed on that country’s road network (which is not entirely true). However, the absence of a speed limit in certain sections of German motorways has been achieved through extremely rigorous road safety education, where 95% of drivers know what to do when a car approaches at three times the speed they are travelling, or simply know how to drive fast and safely (but not furiously) a sports car or any vehicle that can comfortably cruise at more than 250 km/h.

A scene that contrasts with that of other countries, which I will not mention so as not to offend anyone. Even with speed limits, things are very different. Among other cases (and in the best of cases), the car of the irresponsible driver who is about to overtake us “tailgates” our vehicle, forcing us to move aside (even though he knows in advance that we are going to move over anyway). Or if we are travelling at a certain speed in the left lane, we come across people who don’t even look in their rear-view mirror and pull out to overtake a slower car; and let’s not even mention the lorries, the stars of the roads.

In the video, our “protagonist” is travelling at around 150 km/h, but a Corvette was going much faster. How fast was the Corvette going? I’d venture to bet it was doing around 280 km/h.
